To be considered for the CRM Professional Training Program, complete and submit the application form below. Applications are reviewed by Dr. William Henry, Site Director of Old Cahawba Archaeological Park.
The eight-week hybrid program begins with three weeks of online lectures offered by Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC), followed by five weeks of in-person training led by the Alabama Historical Commission at Old Cahawba. All online lectures must be completed during the three weeks before your selected in-person session.
The program is open to everyone; you do not need to be a NWACC student to apply. NWACC will offer a microcredential to every participant, and its cost is included in the program fee at no additional charge. Participants may also choose to earn three academic credit hours through NWACC.

Application review
Applications open October 1. Dr. Henry begins reviewing them about a week later, in mid-October, and continues on a rolling basis until all available spaces are filled. Enrollment is limited, so we strongly encourage you to apply early. Every applicant receives an acknowledgment within one week of receipt of their application. Applicants typically receive a decision on acceptance within two weeks.
Applications are open while the form below accepts submissions. If applications are closed, the form will display a notice that it is no longer accepting responses.
Registration and payment
Accepted applicants will receive an email from Dr. Henry with instructions for registration and payment.
Program fees are collected by the Cahaba Foundation only after an applicant has been accepted.
